Rachel Gladfelter

Dr. Rachel Gladfelter is a 2023 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She was working in Palmetto, Georgia for the last three years learning all about exotic animals including ones with scales and feathers. She can’t wait to share her knowledge of reptiles, birds and small mammals with you. She has a passion for exotic medicine and surgery and enjoys dog and cat medicine as well! Dr. Gladfelter went to Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey for her undergraduate degree. She then moved down to Alabama where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. She has since fallen in love with the south and looks forward to getting to know Florida more. Dr. Gladfelter is originally from Blackwood, NJ but she has grown up abroad living in Sweden, China and Poland. She now lives with her husband Matt, their daughter Charlotte, and their rabbit, Hamilton. They enjoy hiking, fishing, being outside and watching the occasional soccer match.
